FALL RIVER - Jeannette R. (Plante) Rogers, 92, of Fall River, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2014. She was the wife of the late Joseph M. Rogers and the daughter of the late Harris and Florida (Pichette) Plante. She was a homemaker. Her greatest joy in life were her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed long rides on the beach and had lots of fun visiting the local casinos.
She is survived by her children: Barbara Pelletier, Joann Correia, Diane Misturdo all of Fall River, Kenneth Rogers of Murfreesboro, TN, Richard Rogers of Philadelphia, PA, Steven Rogers, Denise Vanasse, Donna Rogers, all of Fall River, David Rogers of Taunton, Joseph Rogers & Brian Rogers both of Fall River; many grandchildren; many great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces & nephews. She was the mother of the late William Rogers, Joyce Correia, & Robert Rogers; sister of the late Raymond Plante.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on FRIDAY at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph’s Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours THURSDAY 7-9 P.M. www.rogersfuneral.com.
