David J. Nadeau 57, of Bound Rd, Cumberland RI, died Saturday in RI Hospital. He was the husband of Diane (Richer) Nadeau. He was a son of Sylvia (Grimard) Nadeau and the late Rene Nadeau. He was a mechanic working for the Penske Trucking and Leasing Co. for many years. David was a member of the Cumberland Beagle Club, and was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hiking, and cycling. In addition to his sportsman’s interests, he was also an avid reader.
Besides his wife and his mother, he is survived by his son Jason Nadeau and daughter-in-law Anita Kolsoi and their daughter Szofia, and his brother Paul Nadeau of Blackstone. He was also the brother of the late George Nadeau.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, and are private.
