Helen A. (Lynch) Donnaruma, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at her home in Charlestown following a lengthy illness. She was 75 years old.
Helen was born in Boston on May 13, 1939, a daughter of the late John Lynch and Helen (Gilmore) Lynch. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system. Helen worked in security for I.T.S. for several years. She enjoyed the many trips to Lake Winnipesaukee with her family.
Helen is the beloved wife of 52 years to Gerald A. "Jerry" Donnaruma. She is the devoted mother of Carmen Donnaruma and his wife Karen of Reading, Alicia Alibhai and her husband Karim of Medina, Washington and the late Gerald J. Donnaruma. She is the loving Nana to Aliya Alibhai. She is the sister of the late John Lynch and Dorothy O'Neil. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and are invited to attend Helen's Funeral on Friday, December 12, 2014 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Her burial is private. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, December 11, 2014 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
