Doris M. (Miller) Macy age 92 of Salem, NH, died Tuesday at the Hannah Duston Healthcare Center, Haverhill, Massachusetts.
She was born in Cambridge, MA, grew up and attended schools in Somerville, MA. She was a resident of Salem, NH for the past 18 years, formerly of Freedom, NH, and a long time resident of Melrose, MA.
Mrs. Macy was a retired Bookkeeper and Office Clerk for Somerville Fuel Company in Somerville, MA She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Melrose, MA. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Rainbow Girls in Melrose, MA. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Freedom, NH and was active with the Girl Scouts. She was like a mother to all who knew her.
She was predeceased by her husband Burt A. Macy
She is survived by 2 Sons: William & his wife Faye Macy of Salem, NH
Richard & his Wife Ruth Macy of Punta Gorda, FL
2 Daughters: Marjorie A. Ring of Atkinson, NH
Susan J. Lamb of Haverhill, MA
1 Brother: Herbert W. Miller of Colonial Heights, VA

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 18,2004 at 10 AM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. Burial will take place in the springtime at Lakeview Cemetery, Freedom, NH.
Calling hours will be held Friday December 17, 2004 from 5-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
