Porter Sr., James "Ace" Edward 73 of Louisville passed away on Friday December 5, 2014.
Born in Louisville, he was retired from Reynolds Metals.
He was a Kentucky Colonel, a member of the Fire Brigade and a graduate of Dupont Manuel High School.
Preceded in death by his son Michael David Porter
He is survived by his wife of 18 years Beverly Porter; his children James Edward Porter Jr. (Missy),
Valerie Jeanne Goodwin, Jacob "Matt" Porter (Mandy), Bradley Michael Porter, Tonia James and Sheila Blackburn (Troy).
Brother George A. Porter (Nancy); Sister Charlotte L. Lyons (Glen) and Diana L. Kyle (Joe);
Fourteen Grandchildren and Three Great Grandchildren.
His Funeral Service will be 2 pm Tuesday December 9, 2014 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown
9318 Taylorsville Rd. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation Monday 1-8 pm at the Funeral Home.
