John Heggie Rolwing
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Friday, December 5, 2014, Mr. John Heggie Rolwing, 77, loving husband to Joyce Adams Rolwing. He was the son of the late Dr. and Mrs. E. Charles Rolwing.
Mr. Rolwing was born in Cairo, IL and grew up in Charleston, MO. He attended St. Louis University, graduating from Memphis State University. He worked 30 years at Bechtel Corporation.
Family members in addition to his wife include his daughters: Sarah Novak (Tim) of Huntington Beach, CA, Mary Kathryn Rolwing of Evans, GA, Ann Marie Rolwing (Ross Thompson) of Oakland, CA, Lesley Reeves (Trey) of Lexington, SC; grandchildren: Eric, Brian, Katie, George, Ellie, Kevin, and Erin; great grandchildren: Sadie, Wake, Jaelyn, and Graham; and his brother-in-law: Tom Bevill of Cary, NC.
Funeral services will be private.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Mary on the Hill Catholic School, 1220 Monte Sano Avenue, Augusta, GA 3094.
