SALEM - Rosemary “Rose” E. (LeBlanc) Jodoin, 61, of Salem, wife of John A. Jodoin, died Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the Salem Hospital following a short illness.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Pauline (Pappadopoulos) LeBlanc. She was a graduate of Salem High School and received an Associates Degree from North Shore Community College.
Prior to her retirement, Rose was employed by the City of Salem School Department in the Special Education Office.
A lifelong resident of the city, she was a life member of the DAV Ladies Auxiliary.
Besides her husband, with whom she shared 40 years of marriage, she is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Heather Jodoin of Beverly, one daughter, Crystal Jodoin of Salem, five grandchildren, Johnathan, Joseph Shawn, Matthew and Kathryn Jodoin, two brothers and a sister-in-law, John LeBlanc and Ellen Garfi of Groveland, Donald LeBlanc of Salem and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother, Paul LeBlanc.
Her funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 11 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at Noon at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, North Street, Salem, at the Peabody line. Visiting hours are Monday, 3 to 7 pm. Burial is in St. Mary Cemetery, Salem.
