Jewell Day was born July 1, 1929 in Wisdom, KY; died November 26, 2014 in Louisville, KY.
She worked many years at the Hazelwood TB Hospital, and Sts. Mary and Elizabeth Hospital where she retired in 1986.
She is survived by her Grandsons: John Ferguson, and Jeffrey Ferguson; Great-Grandson: Kyle Ferguson;
Step-Children: Paula Fugate, Ann Hargesheimer, Robert Day, and Linda Gripp; along with many loyal friends, including, Martha Dudukovich, and
Thelma Bowles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse Gilley and Willie Bennett; and a Son: Jesse Ferguson.
Funeral Services were held Thursday, December 4, 2014 at 10:00 AM, visitation 9:00 – 10:00AM at Owen Funeral
Home with Vault interment at Glasgow Municipal Cemetery in Glasgow, KY.
