Bonnie Jean (Schmink) Garmon, 82, of Anderson went to be with her Lord on December 3, 2014 at her residence after an extended illness.
She was born, March 2, 1932 in Sidell, Illinois to Harley and Inez (Overman) Schmink.
She was a homemaker and in her later days, worked at J.C. Penney and Cooper's Sport Bowl. She belonged to the WIBC league for 45 years. She loved sports of all kinds. She was a huge fan of her Cubs and the Colts. She loved being able to watch her great grandsons play ball during the summer.
She is survived by her three daughters, Teresa Harless of Daleville; Leann(Mike)Johnson and Melissa Garmon all of Anderson; her brother, James Schmink of Clearwater, FL; three grandchildren, Tony Smith, Angie (Clint) Acker and Kim Givens; several step-grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Leon Garmon , sister, Carolyn Payne and son-in-law, Jack Harless.
Services will be 11 am Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Mike Snyder of South Meridian Church of God officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4 -8 p.m. on Monday, December 8 at the funeral home.
