Mary (Ciulla) Petruzzelli of Medford died Tuesday, December 2 in the Glen Ridge Nursing Care Center in Medford. Born and raised in Boston's North End and West End, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Maria (Graffeo) Ciulla.
Mary was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Petruzzelli and the devoted mother of Sandra DeSantis of Long Island, NY, Joseph Petruzzelli of Boston, Anthony Petruzzelli and his wife Sue of Ocala, FL. She was the loving grandmother of Carl DeSantis, Rick DeSantis and his wife Vanessa, Tony Petruzzelli, Thomas Petruzzelli and his wife Michelle, Jamey Petruzzelli and his Fiance Ashley Vasquez, and the loving great grandmother of Chelsea, Boston, Jaylee, Anthony and Rocco Petruzzelli, Paige and Reid DeSantis. Mary was the sister of Jenny Szecskas and Salvatore Ciulla, both of Medford, Frances Hernandes of Atlanta, GA, and the late Elizabeth Fericano, Lillian Aniello, Mike and Paul Ciulla. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be celebrated in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Monday, December 8 at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4 - 8PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
