Manchester– Doris Y. Gourre, 74, died November 28, 2014 at Ridgewood Center & Rehabilitation following a brief illness.
She was born in Manchester on July 30, 1940 the daughter of Roland and Merilda (Bergeron) Roberge.
She was a graduate of St. George High School.
Prior to her retirement she was a school cafeteria worker in the city of Concord, a waitress at Cathay Island and Wa Toy Restaurants, and later became a florist while residing in Florida.
She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred A. Gourre.
Family members include 2 sons, David Levesque, Raymond Levesque and his wife Linda of Concord, her step daughter, Sheila Gourre of Manchester, several grandchildren, 2 sisters, Beatrice Girard of Winter Haven, FL., Florence Johnston and her husband, Larry, 2 sisters in law, Rose Keane of Manchester, Rollande Zwicker of Salem and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A committal service will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at 12:30 PM.
