Obituary

GILFORD – William E. Ratliff Sr., 59, of 343 Old Lake Shore Road, died Monday, November 24, 2014 in his home after a long illness.

He was born on August 16, 1955 in Panama, the son of Alvin L. and Benita (Segura) Ratliff. William served in the US Army. William was a certified Master Chef and had a passion for cooking and running restaurants. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was a devoted New England Patriots fan. He took great pride in his hard work and providing for his family.

He is survived by his wife, Isabel (Moreno) Ratliff of Laconia; two sons, William E. Ratliff Jr. of Manchester and Alvin L. Ratliff II of Panama; his father and stepmother, Alvin and Kathy Ratliff of Moorefield, West Virginia; one brother, Patrick Ratliff of South Carolina; one sister, Gladys Witles, of Maryland and two grandchildren, Dominick and Katrina Ratliff, both of Manchester.

There will be no calling hours.

Graveside services will be held in the summer at Olivet Cemetery in Moorefield, West Virginia.
