Obituary

Fernand G. Turgeon, 73, of Manchester died December 12, 2004 at the Catholic Medical Center.

He was born in Notre Dame Des. Bois, PQ, Canada on February 3, 1931, the son of Ernest and Rose Aimee (Blais) Turgeon.

Until his retirement, he had worked for several dry-wall companies for over 40 years.

He was a parishioner of the Parish of the Transfiguration.

He was a member of the Rimmon Club where he enjoyed playing pool and he was also an avid hunter. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Members of his family include his wife of 45 years, Jeannine (Gagner) Turgeon of Manchester; 4 daughters, Carol Turgeon of Goffstown, Jo-Ann Turgeon of Manchester, Vivian Nichols of Newfields and Chantal Guerrette of Raymond; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Herve Turgeon of Wallingford, VT, and Edgar Turgeon of St. Jean, PQ; 2 sisters Claudette Boudreault and Carmen Turgeon, both of Anjou, PQ; many nephews, nieces, and cousins.

A memorial mass of Christian burial was celebrated in Parish of the Transfiguration on Saturday December 18, 2004. Burial was at a later time.
