Obituary

Joseph A. Korsak, 75, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2014 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home. He Leaves his wife of 30 years Phyllis (Haynes) Korsak; sons Joseph A. Korsak of Clearwater FL, T. Patrick Korsak of Holyoke MA; stepsons Michael F. Stone Jr. of Clearwater FL and Stephen Pratt of Worcester MA; a sister and brother-in-law Janice and Stuart Margolin of Naples FL and many nieces and nephews.

Joe was born in Worcester, son of the late Joseph W. and Josephine A.(Hartman) Korsak. He graduated from Boys Trade School. Joe worked for many years as a machine operator for Norton Co. and as a buyer for Spag's. He was a car enthusiast, enjoyed attending antique car shows, loved antiques and always working with his hands. Joe kept busy, a veritable handyman at home and helping others. He loved gardening his prized tomatoes and tinkering on his cars. As a youngster he spent many a summer with his family in Wareham and Buzzards Bay and later in years enjoyed vacationing on Cape Cod with his wife Phyllis.
Joe was a people person, kind, considerate, soft spoken and always there to help.


A funeral service will be held on
Tuesday, Dec. 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. in
Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Burial will be private. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers,
