WORCESTER-Richard T. Knorring, 73, of 10 Seconset Street, died Monday, December 13th at home. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Jeannine V. (Mercier) Knorring, 3 sons, Peter Knorring of Wrentham, Jeffrey Knorring of Worcester and David Knorring of Holden, 2 daughters, Donna St. Claire of Hubbardston and Michelle Nashino of Holden, 4 grandsons, 4 granddaughters and a great grandson. A son, Ricky Knorring died in 1971.
He was born in Worcester the son of Ragner and Ester (White) Knorring, graduated from Commerce High School and obtained an associate degree in engineering from the former Worcester Technical Institute. Mr. Knorring worked as an engineer for Heald Machine Company for 40 years, until retiring in 1992. He was an avid fisherman.
The funeral is Thursday, December 16th with a service at 10:00 AM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are Wednesday, December 15th from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
