Alice E. Mullin, 88 of Derry, NH, died Monday, December 13, 2004 in the Haven Health Center, Derry. Mrs. Mullin was born in Kenosha, WI on April 27, 1916, a daughter of the late Michael and Mary (Labanov) Zahorsky. She was a resident of Derry for the last eight years, formerly a longtime resident of Cambridge, MA. Mrs. Mullin earned her Master's Degree in Business from St. Mary's College in Indiana. She worked as a bookkeeper for the City of Cambridge. She was a master seamstress, a great artist and adored her family dearly.
She is survived by two sons, Jay Mullin of Harwich, MA and James F. Mullin of Somerville, MA, two daughters, Harriett Crowell of Orange, FL and Mary Papa of Everett, MA, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, James F. Mullin in 1994.
Following cremation, private family interment services will be held in the Cambridge Cemetery. There are no visiting hours. The Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 15 Birch Street Derry, NH is in charge of the arrangements.
