Dorothy Hardy Huskey, 90, of Reidsville, NC passed away on November 26, 2014. She was born on September 16, 1924 in Red Oak, VA to the late Joseph Wesley Hardy and the late Virginia Elizabeth Hatcher. She is survived by three daughters, Thelma Tharpe Kindley of Gibsonville, NC, Virginia Tharpe of Reidsville, NC and Dianne Terry Kirks and her husband, Wesley of Mcleansville, NC, one son, Eric C. Terry and his wife, Melissa of Winston Salem, NC, eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Hardy Townsend of Scottsville, VA, several nieces and nephews and many devoted friends. She is predeceased by her son, Curtis Tharpe, and three brothers, Leland Hardy, Shirley Hardy and Melvin Hardy. Dorothy is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2014 at 3 p.m. at the Newcomb Allgood Funeral Home chapel. Entombment will follow at the Woodland Mausoleum. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
