The youngest daughter of George Briggs, Professor of Religion at Drew University and later of Serampore College in India, and his wife Mary Hart Briggs, Mrs. Glover was born in Allahabad, India in 1919. There she made many new friends with whom she could share her love of art and poetry. Even in her mid-nineties Janet could often be heard quoting anything from Winnie The Pooh to the works of Shakespeare and William Blake.

A celebration of her life and reception will be held at the StoneRidge Independent Living Facility in Mystic, CT on Saturday, December 27, 2014 from 3 to 5pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
