Jeannine C. Lavoie, 78, of Candia, NH died November 25, 2014 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family.
Born on May 30, 1936, she was the daughter of Ovila Racine and Giselle Hummer.
She most recently had volunteered at the Moore School for many years. Previously, she had worked at Myrna Shoe Company.
She enjoyed camping, babysitting, and spending time outdoors. Above all else, Jeannine will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished time spent with her family.
She was predeceased by her husband Gerard Lavoie in 2008.
Family members include her children, Michael B. Lavoie and wife Ruth of Hooksett, Lynda A. Byrne and husband John of Candia, Kenneth G. Lavoie and wife Kathy of Northwood; five grandchildren, Stephanie Hudon and husband Jay of Manchester, Christine Lavoie of Hooksett, Jamie Byrne and wife Amanda of Candia, Michael Lavoie and wife Katelyn of Hooksett, Brandy Byrne and fiancé Joe Giordano of Candia; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Jacob Hudon, Olivia Lavioe, and expected great-granddaughter, Ella Giordano; one brother, Ben Racine and wife Isabelle of Concord; many nephews, nieces and cousins.
A memorial service was held on Monday, December 1, 2014 in Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St, corner of North St, Manchester.
