Obituary

Samuel O'Dafé Otobo, 25, was granted his angel wings on November 13, 2014 at his home in Worcester, Massachusetts. Sam is survived by his mother, Dorothy Savice; his father, Henry Adedapo and his wife April Dixon-Adedapo; brothers, Daryl Otobo , Teddy Otobo-Sheriff and his wife Mena Nimley Otobo-Sheriff, Emmanuel Otobo, David Otobo, Joshua Otobo, Milton Dixon, DeAnthony Reese; sisters; Brenda (Yannick) Essam, Cynthia Musya, and Rashida Oyindamola Adedapo; his niece, Avenel Otobo-Sheriff and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins.
He was born September 8, 1989 in Atlanta, Georgia to Henry Adedapo and Dorothy Savice. Sam's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. He attended Burncoat High School in Worcester, MA. He continued his education at Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, MA graduating in May 2014 with an Associate's Degree in Human Services. He enjoyed music, cooking, and helping around the house. His gently smile brought so much joy to our family.
His funeral is Saturday, December 6th with a service at 9:00 AM in First Baptist Church, 111 Park Avenue. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, December 5th from 5:00 until 9:00 PM in First Baptist Church. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is directing arrangements.
