Gucea (Dimo) Tandili, 89, of Worcester, passed away Monday, November 24th in UMass Memorial Hospital. Her husband, Dhimitraq Tandili, died in 2004. She leaves two daughters, Irma Treko and Diana Kamani, both of Worcester; four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Her son, Nesti Tandili, died in 2008.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Vasil and Thomaidha (Mitre) Dimo and lived in Albania for many years before returning here. She was a member of St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church.
The funeral is Saturday, November 29th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a service at 10:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, November 28th from 4:30 until 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
