William W. Davidian, 87, of New Bedford died Monday November 24, 2014 at St. Luke's Hospital.
A lifelong resident of New Bedford, Mr. Davidian was a police officer for the New Bedford Police Department for 20 years. He also was the owner of the Belmont Club for 38 years.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Irene Sylvia; five children, David Davidian of Houston, TX, Steven Davidian of Martha's Vineyard, Lynn Donohue, Dawn Davidian, and Mark Davidian, all of New Bedford; and six grandchildren.
