DRACUT - William Francis “Bill” Tighe, age 51, died peacefully on Sunday evening at the Kindred Hospital in Natick.
He was born in Malden, a son of Margaret “Peggy” (Gately) Tighe of Lowell and the late Theodore “Ted” Tighe. He was raised in Lowell and graduated from the Greater Lowell Vocational Technical High School. He had lived in Dracut since 2005.
Bill worked at Raytheon in Andover as an electronic inspector and tester.
Besides his mother, he leaves four sisters, Linda Zuniga of Salem, NH, Jean Tighe of Lowell, Mary Hebert of Salem, NH, Joan Tighe of NH, a brother, Michael Tighe of Lowell; two nephews, John “Jay” Hebert and William Zuniga; a niece, Shauna Zuniga-Villalona; a grand nephew, Austin Villalona; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was uncle of the late Theodore “Teddy” Hebert, who died in October.
Relatives and friends will be received Wednesday morning, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in the Tewksbury Funeral Home, corner of 1 Dewey and 975 Main Sts. (Rte. 38) TEWKSBURY CENTER, Ph.
