Obituary
Armand A. J. Dupont, 86, of Bedford, NH died Monday November, 24, 2014 following a short illness.
He was born in Manchester, on December 21, 1927 the son of Donat and Marie Jeanne (Beaulieu) Dupont and had resided in Manchester for most all of his life until moving to Bedford in 2000.
He was educated in the local school system attending St. Marie and St. George before entering the US Merchant Marines and also the US Army. He was awarded the North Atlantic War Zone Bar and the WWII Victory Medal. He worked several years at Hillsborough County Farm and retired after working many years for Ste. Marie Parish.
He married Nancy Lee Levesque on August 28, 1958 and was a life long member of the Jutras Post#43 American Legion.
Armand enjoyed fishing the big New Hampshire Lakes. He loved nature, wild life, working in his garden and his bird sanctuary. He leaves his beloved wife of 56 years Nancy Lee, two sons, Gary Hudon and Donald T. Dupont, a niece, Elaine Rosas Cannesa of Oaklawn IL. His cat, “Sophie” and his dog “Penney”. Armand was predeceased buy two sisters, Doris E. Gregoire in 1996 and Lucille M. Dube in 2007.
Private Encryptment services were held on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at the Mt. Calvary Mausoleum.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Manchester Animal Shelter 490 Dunbarton Rd. Manchester, NH 03102
