Obituary

Wallace O. MacLean of Stoneham passed away on Friday December 10, 2004 at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. He was 72 years of age.

Born in Milford, Wallace was the son of the late John W. MacLean and E. Muriel (Oliver) MacLean. Wallace was a 1950 graduate of Stoneham High School. He was a dedicated member of the Stoneham Elks, and enjoyed playing Cribbage and Poker at the Stoneham Senior Center.

Wallace was a devoted truck driver for Severance Trucking Company. He was the director of the New England Motor Rate Bureau. He also worked for White and Johnson Florist. During the Korean Conflict, Wallace proudly server our country as an Airman First Class in the United States Air Force.

Wallace was the beloved husband of Natalie C. (Johnson) MacLean. He was the devoted father of Sharon Tufts and her husband Donald, Pamela Fitzgerald and her husband Edward, Dale MacLean and his wife Nancy, Brian MacLean and his wife Alma. Wallace was the cherished grandfather of 13 and the dear brother of Mary Jean Mitchell and the late Marilyn Belyeu. He was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Wallace’s life will be held on Tuesday at 12pm in the Chapel of the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours Monday 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty.
