Thomas A. “Whitey” Hardesty, 86, passed away, Wednesday, November 19, 2014 in Louisville, KY.
He was born in Louisville to Roy and Lorean Hardesty. Whitey is of the Catholic faith, a veteran of the Navy. He was a Carpenter by trade, a 39 year member of the Local #64.
He was preceded in death by a son, Thomas R. Hardesty; a sister, Rita Hardesty.
Whitey is survived by his children, Michael Hardesty (Robin), Patricia Adams, Judith Brown (Mike); grandchildren, Shawn, John (Krista), Justin, Tommy, Sophia, and a future great-grandbaby, Shelby; sisters, Lois Dale, Rosetta Hester, Margaret Wafzig, Irma Fussnecker.
Funeral services will be 10:00AM Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy.
Visitation is Friday 12:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
