Laconia-----James E. Trainor III, 69, of 833 Weirs Blvd., died peacefully at his home on Monday, November 17, 2014.
Jim was born January 10, 1945 in Winthrop, Mass., the son of the late James E. and Ellen (Gannon) Trainor. He graduated from Revere High School in 1962 and then served in the U. S. Army. He resided in Londonderry, N.H. for several years before moving to Laconia eighteen years ago while spending his winter months in Homosassa, Fla. He had been employed as a Power House Mgr. at GE in Lynn, MA and then Plant Mgr. at Anheuser-Busch in Merrimack, NH for 25 years before retiring in December, 2000.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Elizabeth (Laracy) Trainor,
of Laconia; two sons, Mike Trainor and his wife, Lisa, of NH and Rob Trainor of The Virgin Islands; his brothers-in-law, William Laracy and his wife, Maryann, of Beverly, MA and John Laracy of Boston, MA; his aunts and uncles, Donald and Marie Trainor of Saugus, MA, James and Ann Knowles and Isabel Safrine all of Salisbury, MA and Janice Trainor of Winthrop, MA; several nieces and nephews and many great friends.
Jim enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, traveling, boating, and socializing by the pool. He always threw a great party and was a constant joker. He was loved by all he met and will be greatly missed.
Calling hours will be held from 9AM to 11AM on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at the Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, using the Carriage House entrance.
A Funeral Service will follow at 11AM also at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Bayside Cemetery, Laconia.
