Karen A. Roy, 61 of Danvers, passed away peacefully Monday, November 17, 2014, at the Hunt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Danvers following a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Reney W. and Natalie (Blanchard) Roy.
Born and raised in Salem, she was a graduate of Salem High School. Karen worked as a cashier for Ann & Hope. She was a resident of Salem and later Topsfield before moving to Danvers seven years ago.
She is survived by her sister, Donna M. Roy and her companion, Wayne Strout of Stratham, NH, a niece, Jessica Healy of Big Sur, California as well as several cousins and devoted friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to her visiting hours on Friday, November 21, 2014 at the Levesque Funeral Home, 163 Lafayette St. [ Route 114 / 1-A] Salem from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. to be followed by her funeral service at 11:00 A.M.
