Obituary

Roger LeBlanc 87 of Lawrence passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Methuen. Mr. LeBlanc was born in July 2, 1927 in Gardner, MA to the late Alyre and Anna LeBlanc. He attended the Holy Rosary Parochial School of Gardner Class of 1942 and Gardner High School, Class of 1946. Following his graduation from Gardner High School, Roger attended Clark University of Worcester. He was a United States Marine Corps Reservist from 1948-1950. Mr. LeBlanc was a member of the Pro Merito Honor Society of Gardner High School, a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and a member of the Marine Corps League. Roger was a long time employee of Raytheon, working in both the Andover Plant and the Executive Offices located in Lexington, MA where he retired in 1991.

Roger was the beloved husband of Alma (Ammon) LeBlanc for over 40 years. He was the devoted father of Jacqueline LeBlanc, Kathleen Otto and her husband Martin Jr. and Doris LeBlanc. He was the cherished grandfather of Nicholas Navin, Jarrod Navin, Melissa Bailey and Martin Otto III. Mr. LeBlanc is also survived by his great grandchildren Samantha Bailey, Sean Bailey and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. Interment will follow at Elmwood Cemetery of Methuen.
