Obituary

Raymond Lanciani age 85, of Stoughton passed away peacefully on November 17th at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Everett, Raymond attended Everett Public Schools. After graduating from high school Ray enlisted in the US Navy and along with four of his older brothers proudly served during WWII. Mr. Lanciani and his wife moved from East Boston to Stoughton in 1963 where they raised their three children. Ray worked for the Stoughton Public Works Department for many years before retiring in 1990. After retirement Raymond enjoyed doing yard work, word search puzzles, vacationing in Disney and spending time with his family especially his 5 grandchildren. Beloved husband of Ann (Grinkewch). Loving father of Kenneth & his wife Debra of Stoughton, Paul of FL, & Dawn Rocha & her husband Paul of Bridgewater. Cherished grandfather of Sean, Corey, Jenna, Viktoria & Jared. Brother of Robert & his wife Elaine of Everett & the late Augustine, Torino, Thomas, Albert, Alfred & Edward. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a funeral mass at St. James Parish, 560 Page St., Stoughton, Wednesday morning at 10:30. Interment VA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:00 p.m. Visiting hours omitted. Navy Veteran WWII. Donations in Ray’s memory can be made to Good Samaritan Spiritual Care Department, 235 N.
