Darrell Dodds Trotter, 79, of Anderson died November 15, 2014 at Countryside Manor.
He was born June 17, 1935 in Belgrade, Nebraska to Maude Eunice (Dodds) and Glenn Ernest Trotter.
He served in the US Army.
He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene.
He was a School Principal 19 years at North East School in IL; 5 years Assistant Superintendant in District 124 in IL; Administrator at Westside Christian School in Avon and Executive Pastor in Jackson, MI. He enjoyed golf and coffee with friends.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mona (Kennedy) Trotter of Anderson whom he married August 4, 1956; his son, Jeffrey Scott (Tina) Trotter, daughter, Kara Lynn (Trotter) Killette; five grandchildren, Bailey Trotter, Joshua Killette, Morgan Trotter, Kennedy Killette and Conner Trotter; sister, Patty (Trotter) Cox.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard Trotter.
Services will be held 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Dr. Michael Ross and Rev. Dewayne Repass officiating.
Visitation will be Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Dove Harbor.
