Helena A. (Rosa) DaSilva a 20 year resident of Stoughton, formerly of Cambridge passed away at home on Wednesday November 5, 2014. She was 81 years old and the beloved wife of Jose’T. DaSilva. She was also the loving mother of Maria I. (DaSilva) Eduardo and her husband Celestino and Branca H. DaSilva all of Stoughton. Other survivors include her loving nieces and nephews. She was also a sister to the late Alice Perreira and Maria G. Faria.
Born April 17, 1933 in Faial, Azores, Portugal Helena was a daughter to the late Jose’ Francisco DaRosa Jr. and Florinda G. Escobar. She was a communicant and attended the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Her funeral mass will be held on Saturday November 15, 2014 at 12 noon in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton. The Rev. Jose Eduardo Marques officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. Visiting hours will be held prior to the mass from 9:30 A.M. – 11:30 A.M. in the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. All are welcome to attend. Flowers are welcome.
