Obituary

John T. LeSueur II, 66, of Derry, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, November 10, 2014 in Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. He was born in on April 5, 1948 in New Orleans, LA, a son of the late John and Margarette (Weed) LeSueur. John served his country honorably in the US Air Force, retiring as Lt. Col after 22 years. He also served as the deacon at Faith Episcopal Church, Merrimack and was instrumental in setting up the ministry at the NH State Men’s prison where he had a deep care for the prisoners he ministered to. He was a private pilot and had achieved his commercial pilot’s license. In his youth, he was the Captain of a Charter boat service on the Gulf of Mexico. He enjoyed golf, hiking, cross country skiing, and Cajun music. He loved his dogs and tolerated Sue’s cats. He will be remembered by all those whose lives he touched. John loved God, his country, and his family, but always put family first.
He is survived by his wife, Rev. Sue LeSueur, two sons, George LeSueur and Steve LeSueur, his sister, Peggy Wampold, mother-in-law, Elvira Lassey, two brothers-in-law, John Lassey and his wife Kathleen and Steve Lassey and his wife Lisa; two sisters-in-law, Jeanne Arana and her husband John and Marcia Clark and her husband George; as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins.

There are no calling hours. A Requiem Mass was celebrated on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11:00 am in Grace Episcopal Church, 106 Lowell Street, Manchester, NH. The burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry Road, East Derry, NH.
