Jackie W. "Jack" Harless, 72, of Daleville, died November 10, 2014 at Community Hospital after an extended illness.
He was born, October 2, 1942 in Anderson to George and Florence (Shipley) Harless.
He was owner and operator of Jack Harless Masonry.
He enjoyed hunting, flea markets and loved telling jokes.
He is survived by his loving wife, Terra (Schmink) Harless of Daleville whom he married November 2, 2002 in Daleville; three children, Jackie (Todd) Peridore; Stacey (Kellie) Harless; Anthony Smith; two brothers, David Harless; Joey (Arnetta) Harless; eight grandchildren, Angela (Shannon) Clark; Taylor Peridore; Tiffany Peridore; Jeremy Harless; Hannah Harless; Brittney Morris; Briana Morris and Jolie Smith; great grandchildren Chelsey Peridore; Katherine Peridore; Braydn Harless; Brittany Clark several nieces, nephews and his dog Zeke.
He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Joyce, sister-in-law Barbara Harless.
The family would like to thank the staff at Miller's Merry Manor in Chesterfield for their love and care of Jack.
Services will be held 11 am on Friday, November 14, 2014 at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Pastor Tim Warrum officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Walk Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 13, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
