Rodney E. Reynolds, 67, of Fitzgerald, died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at his residence.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Reynolds was born October 15, 1947, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late Major Lee Reynolds and Patricia Ruth Brown Reynolds Evans. Mr. Reynolds served in the United States Air Force and the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver and an avid reader. He enjoyed spending time with his best friend, Earl Eason, at his shop. He was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
He is survived by his dad: Ben Evans of Fitzgerald; his sisters: Cynthia & Johnny Troupe of Abbeville and Janet & Gary Dunn of Fitzgerald; and a sister-in-law: Cathy Reynolds of Fitzgerald. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed by his faithful companion, Shotzie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother: Daryl Reynolds.
