Rodrigo “Rudy” Erfe passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital with his family at his side.
Rudy was born on March 13, 1934 in Igbaras, Iloilo, Philippines to Santiago and Felicitacion Erfe. He is survived by his mother, and by his wife of 54 years, Carol Erfe, sons James and Scott, grandchildren Benjamin, Stephanie, Jeffrey and James “Jay”. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Jean Eger, and a niece and nephews here and in the islands.
Rudy was retired as Master Chief (U.S. Coast Guard) and a commissary supervisor in the Department of Corrections at Niantic. His passions were his family, gardening and bowling.
