Dorothy O. (Damon) Rudolph, 92, of East Bridgewater died on November 5, 2014 at the West Bridgewater Life Care Center in West Bridgewater, MA.
Born in East Bridgewater (Northville), Massachusetts in 1922, the only daughter of seven children of Forrest H. and Janett G. (Smith) Damon, Dorothy was a “farm girl” who lived her life for her family, was an active member of the Helping Hand Society and secretary of the Northville Cemetery Corporation for many years. She enjoyed gardening, knitting and crocheting, and following the Red Sox.
She married the late Kendrick S. Rudolph, Sr. on November 22, 1944. She is survived by two sons, Thomas W., his wife Jennifer, and Kendrick S. (Buddy), Jr. of East Bridgewater and daughter-in-law Geraldine of West Bridgewater. She was predeceased by sons David B. and Wayne S.
Dorothy was the loving grandmother of six: Allison Hennequin, Carrie-Ann Rudolph, Dr. Rosemary Botelho, Amanda Ricci, Shannon McNamee, Wayne Rudolph II, and the proud great-grandmother of eight.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday November 12 at 11:30 AM in the Northville Cemetery, Oak Street (Rte. 14) East Bridgewater, MA.
