Antonio O. Adolfo, 69 of Fall River, passed away on Nov. 4, 2014. Born in Remédios da Bretanha, São Miguel, Açores he was the beloved husband of Aldina (Nunes) Adolfo and the son of the late Antonio and Palmira (Oliveira) Adolfo. Prior to retiring, Antonio worked 30 years as a Machine Operator for Slader Dye Co. of Pawtucket. He was a member of the Master Builders Church, Bay St. Fall River, S.C.A. Cultural Club, S. Main St., Fall River, a Benfica soccer fan, enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes with his wife, and spending time with his children & grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Celia Botelho (husband Joseph) of Fall River, Idalina Pires of Fall River, Steven Pires of Cambridge, Canada, Jennifer Arruda of Westport, Elizabeth Sousa & Nelson Adolfo both of Fall River; siblings: Ilidio Adolfo of FL, Maria Botelho & Liliana Freitas both of Providence, Gilda Melo of Fall River, Cremilda Custodio of Dartmouth, Adenoalda Pires & Manny Adolfo both of Fall River, and Marta Fontaine of Westport; 13 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
