Geraldine A. Tracy

TEWKSBURY - Geraldine A. “Gerry” (Marchant) Tracy, age 54, a resident of this community
for more than two decades, died Tuesday, Dec. 7, at her home, following a courageous battle
with Leukemia that began last March. She was the wife of John E. Tracy, with whom she had
celebrated a 30th wedding anniversary on August 31st.
She was born in Brighton, August 9, 1950, a daughter of Gerald and Concetta (Luppino)
Marchant, who currently reside in Billerica. She was raised in Billerica, and graduated Billerica
High School.
She was employed as a certified solderer at Sanmina in Woburn.
Since her move to Tewksbury, she was a communicant of St. William’s Church.
She will be remembered as having devoted her life to her family.
Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by a son, Clifford E. Tracy of Tewksbury; a
daughter, Christina A. Tracy of Tewksbury; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Howard
Burns of Pepperell, Sandra and James Howard of Sanford, ME, Joanne and Steven Isabelle of Big
Pine, FL; a brother, Gerald Thomas Marchant of Londonderry, NH; a sister-in-law, Lillian
(Stevens) Marchant of Nashua, NH; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late George Marchant.
Her funeral service was held Saturday, Dec. 11, in the funeral home. Interment was in Tewksbury Cemetery. Memorials to
the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, P.O. Box 4261, Pittsfield, MA 01202, will be
appreciated.
