The Rev. David E. Armstrong, 70, of McLeansboro, Illinois died at 4:15 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014 at his home. He was born April 10, 1944, in New Bedford, MA, the son of Clyde Robert and Lillian (Bouthillette) Armstrong. He married Mary Ann (Pacheco) Armstrong on July 3, 1965, in South Dartmouth, MA.
Funeral services were held on Oct. 25, 2014 at Grace Baptist Church in Raleigh, IL. Graveside services will be held on Nov. 8, 2014 at 11:00 at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Westport, MA. Rev. Armstrong will be buried next to his parents, with full military rites. Survivors include his wife, and five of his six children. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son.
