James “JD” Hall, Jr., passed away Tuesday, November 3, 2014 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was born in Louisville, KY to James Dillon Hall, Sr. and Velta Marie (Caple) Hall.
He was a retired Cartographer at Federal Mapping Service and a WWII Marine veteran.
JD was a member of Cloverleaf Baptist Church and a member of the Suburban Masonic Lodge #740 L&AM.
JD was preceded in death by his sisters, Vivian Mateo, and Gloria Cornatzer; his first wife, Catherine; a daughter, Darlene Whelan.
He’s survived by his wife, Darlene of 21 yrs.; a daughter, Debbie Lynn Pierce (Paul); several step-children; extensive grandchildren; great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Friday at Cloverleaf Baptist Church, 4401 Manslick Rd.;
Visitation Thursday 2:00-8:00pm at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. with burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
