Obituary

CONCORD: Margaret Hoenig – Hahn, 87, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 4, 2014.
She was born in Munich, Germany the daughter of Albert Neumeyer and Martha (Stern) Neumeyer.
She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Victor Hahn who died on June 25, 2002.
She was the devoted mother of Susan Hoenig of Princeton, NJ; Peter A. Hoenig of Sudbury; Sandra Meyerson of Concord and Stephen Hoenig of Lincoln. Sister of John Neumeyer of Wayland. Also survived by 11 grandchildren.
Margaret was educated in England and came to the United States and attended Hunter College in New York. She was an accomplished potter and art teacher and taught for many years in the Wayland Public School system. She also taught at her studio in Wayland and at the Meadowbrook Day School in Weston. Margaret was an active board member of the Young Audiences of Massachusetts and a member of the New England Ceramic Society. She was also a very active member of Temple Shir Tikva in Wayland.
Her funeral services were held on Friday, November 7, 2014 at Temple Shir Tikva, 141 Boston Post Road (Rte 20), Wayland, MA 01778.
Interment followed in the Hoenig-Hahn lot in North Cemetery in Wayland.
In lieu of flowers her family suggests that memorial donations may be sent to Temple Shir Tikva or to the Haystack Mountain School of Crafts, POB 518, Deer Isle, ME 04627 and would be greatly appreciated.
