Passed away unexpectedly at his home in Lawrence. John worked for many years at The Lawrence Housing Authority. Those that truly knew John appreciated his sense of humor and quick wit. He had a big heart and was a very generous person. Always willing to help others with his handyman skills.
He enjoyed classic movies and television shows, he was an avid Patriots fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. He enjoyed his scenic drives up the coast to Maine stopping at seafood restaurants in search of the best "Lobstah" roll. John will be dearly missed by friends and family.
He was predeceased by his mother Joan (Marcinonis) Rogers. He is survived by his Father and Step Mother John and Judith Rogers. John's survivors include his son Sean Rogers, granddaughter Evie Vinson and former wife Sheila Rogers, Sisters Lauri Rogers and fiancée Kevin Demers, Lynne Donovan and her husband Michael, Lisa Ouellet and her fiancée Christopher Gianni, step sister Cheryl Marcoux.
He was the favorite Uncle of his nieces and nephews, Amanda Ouellette and her husband Bryan, Jen, Jesse and Elijah Ouellet.
