New Bedford-Ricardo A. Jordan died Monday December 6, 2004 at St. Luke’s Hospital after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Hilda (Terrell) Jordan. He was the loved father of Tammy Silveira of New Bedford, He was the step-father of Joseph Bodner III of New Hampshire, Steven and Arthur Terrell both of New Bedford. He was the grandfather of Kristopher and Samantha Terrell both of New Bedford. He was the brother of the late Lucy Costa.
Mr. Jordan was the son of the late Antone and Mary (Medeiros) Jordan. He lived in this area most of his life. He was an inspector with Bird-Johnson of Walpole, MA., until his retirement. He was a Sergeant with the U.S. Marines during the Korean Conflict.
His funeral will be Saturday December 11, 2004, from the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. at 9:30 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Rivet St. New Bedford, MA. According with his wishes he will be cremated. Ashes will be interred at the convenience of the family. Visiting hours will be Thursday December 10, 2004 from 2-4 P.M. and 7 – 9 P.M.
