Dorothy Marie Rocha, passed away at the age of 87 on Monday November 3, 2014 after a long battle with Alzheimer's.
Dorothy was born on May 30, 1927 in Torrance, CA. She was a resident of Ventura for 13 years after moving from Carlsbad, CA and previously to that Santa Barbara, CA.
Dorothy graduated from USC School of Nursing in 1950 and served as a R.N. for 33 years, most recently at Sansum Medical Clinic in Santa Barbara where she retired after 16 years in 1983.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Jose Rocha, father John Leevers, mother Florence Leevers, and sister Lorna Tatum.
She is survived by her son Bert Shaw, daughter Lori Shaw-Kunz, son-in-law, Thomas Kunz and grandson Andrew Kunz.
