Clara Sue Rickard, 75, of Anderson died on November 1, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness.
She was born on July 27, 1939 in Elwood, IN to John Carl and Hazel (Price) Skirvin.
She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her 4 children, Victoria (Alan) Delphia of Anderson, Jack (Kitty) Rickard of Cicero, Bryan (Jaona) Rickard and Rick Rickard both of Anderson; Sister, Sandy Trinkle of Anderson; 7 grandchildren; John Wilson of Anderson, Kacey (Jaime) Jetty of Elwood, Dustin Buttler of Elwood, Ryan Rickard of Anderson, Paige (Joe) Baiano of Ohio, Brandon Rickard of Chicago, IL, and Drew Rickard of Noblesville; 7 great-grandchildren, Destiny, Colton, Jozelynn, Bracken, Elizabeth, Elliana, and Isaac; 8 step-grandchildren, Brother-in-law, William Rickard of Goose Creek, SC; sister-in-law, Sue (Johnny) Stafford of Elwood; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack Rickard who passed away on June 13, 2008; 5 sisters, 2 brothers, and a great-grandson.
The funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 1:00pm at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. The burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will take place from 11:00am-1:00pm at the funeral home.
