Janet Ford, of Canton, died peacefully November 1, 2014 after a long illness. She was 78 years old.
She was a retired employee of the Boston Globe where she worked in the classified advertising department. Janet enjoyed travelling, gardening, and doting on her many loving nieces and nephews. She was known as the “fun aunt” and will be dearly missed.
Daughter of the late John and Gertrude Ford. Loving sister of Marilyn Cirafice and her husband Ronald of Canton, Elizabeth Brackett and her husband William of Falmouth, and Sally Locke and her husband Walter of Canton. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday November 7, 2014 in St Gerard Majella Church 1860 Washington St., Canton at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment Canton Corner Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Janet’s name to the Alzhiemers Association 480 Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA 02472
