Augusta, GA---Mrs. Lucille S. Wilson, 89, entered into rest on Thursday, October 30, 2014.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Dr. Mark Sterling and Rev. Sherrell Dunn officiating.
Mrs. Wilson was a native of Thomson, GA, but had lived most of her life in Augusta, GA. She retired from Ft. Gordon, as the Supervisor of Military Payroll, following 50 years of service. Mrs. Wilson was a member of Curtis Baptist Church, for more than 50 years and was a member of the Ruth Johnson Sunday School Class.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ladson B. “Larry” Wilson and her mother, Louise E. Sills.
Survivors include her sister, Virginia S. Moody of Appling, GA and other family members, Jean and Curtis Choplin of N. Augusta, SC, Donna and Bill Hartshorn of Winter Springs, FL, Curtis, Jr. and Lisa Choplin of Westminster, MD, Kathryn Hartshorn, Steven Hartshorn, Parker Choplin and Brynn Choplin.
The family will receive friends, at the graveside, following the service.
