Burrell Gene Rankin Sr., 69, passed away Saturday November 1, 2014 at St’s Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was born in Louisville, KY to Walter Lee & Icy (Darnell) Rankin.
He was a retired self-employed Wallpaper Hanger.
He was preceded in death by his Parents and his loving wife of 48 years, Diane (Skaggs) Rankin.
Survivors include his children: Connie Emery (Gary) and Burrell Gene Rankin Jr. (Tammy); 5 Grandchildren: Richard & Brooklyn Rankin, Brandon, Zachary and Bradley McQueary (Caitlin); 1 Great Grand Daughter: Meredith Hope.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with entombment to follow in Evergreen Cemetery Mausoleum.
Visitation will be Monday 2:00 – 8:00 PM.
