Kathleen Baker Tedeschi, 73, of Gales Ferry died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 30, 2014. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Louis C. Tedeschi.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons Robert Tedeschi of North Stonington and Patrick Tedeschi of Chapel Hill NC, her two daughters Mary (Jeff) Lackovic of Chapin SC and Monica (Lee) Cantor of Morganville NJ and her 7 grandchildren: Joshua, Tassia, Mario Cassiel, Luke, Grace, Henry and Melanie. She is also survived by her brother William Baker of Oley Pa and her sister Monica Kask of Rocky Hill.
A passionate member of her community, Kathleen dedicated her time to volunteer work, religious education, and the Ladies Guild of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish. She was a fun-loving wife, mom, nana, friend and neighbor who always put her faith and family first. Her ability to soak life up to the fullest was her greatest gift to all who knew her.
Kathleen’s family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday from 5 to 8pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Mystic. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1650 Route 12, Gales Ferry. Burial will follow in Avery-Stoddard Cemetery, Route 214, Ledyard.
